An abstract painting is an autonomous composition created by the artist through the choice of shapes, colors, and/or lines. It does not depict anything existing. If it can convey perceptions, it can suggest moods or feelings. It is a mental painting that completely detaches itself from any objective of representation. Often the public sometimes appreciates an abstract work when it glimpses known shapes in the composition. In this case it shows that it does not understand that every abstract painting does not represent but is. For this reason, the titles of the works (when titled), always act as a free suggestion to emotional reading.
